Program Educational Objectives

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Department of Electrical Engineering are given below:

PEO-1: To maintain & enhance professional competence by acquiring new knowledge & skills.
PEO-2: To aware the importance of life–long learning in the context of technological changes & recent development.
PEO-3: To develop students who will demonstrate technical competence using appropriate engineering techniques.
PEO-4: To provide good learning environment to develop students as successful professionals in wide range of electrical engineering related fields.

Programme Outcomes

PO 1: Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
PO 2: Problem analysis: Identify analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
PO 3: Design/development of solution: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
PO 4: Engineering tool, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
PO 5: Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
PO 6: Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
PO 7: Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

PSOs (Program Specific Outcomes)

PSO 1: To apply principles of basic electrical engineering and laboratory skills for testing, operation and maintenance of electrical systems.

PSO 2: Electrical engineer will be able to support the system based on renewable energy sources & energy conservation.

PSO 3: To work independently in the field of electrical engineering by obtaining electrical contractor license with the acceptable skills of building complexes wiring techniques & acquiring knowledge of automation.
