Harmony 2023 Highlights

The annual cultural programme of Tapi Diploma Engineering College, Surat was held in the college ground on 29th April, 2023. The programme is inaugurated at 6:30 p.m. The function was attended by Mr. Rohan Joshi (HR Manager, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon, Hazira, Surat) as the Chief Guest, Dr. Jayesh Shah (Principal, Pacific Polytechnic College) as guest of honour along with Dr. Vajubhai Mavani (Vice President, STBS Trust), Shri Hemantbhai Topiwala (Secretary, STBS Trust), Shri Babubhai Kotadiya (General Manager, STBS Trust) and Dr. Y.S. Choupare (Principal, Tapi Diploma Engineering College).Distinguished guests from many institutes and organizations, Respected parents and the students of the college also attended the cultural programme.

Dr. Y.S. Choupare (Principal, TDEC) welcomes all the dignitaries and guests of the annual function. The chief guest, guest of honour and secretary of STBS trust delivered a valuable speech. In their speech, they gave much importance to the need for arranging such a programme along with technical education. They also encouraged the students for their performances in Gyanotsav and Harmony. During the Harmony-2023, unveiling of college magazine was also done by dignitaries.

Prize Distribution Function was also arranged at the beginning in which prizes were given to the winners of Gyanotsav-2023, special awards for the students & staff of college, appreciation award to the students who prepared the college magazine.

Mrs. B.B. Acharya and Mr. V.J. Rana (Faculty Convener) delivered a vote of thanks and also shared the journey of Gyanotsav and Harmony by video clip during the programme.

Cultural programme includes the performances of Dance, Singing, Musical Instruments, MIME, Fashion Show. However, everybody enjoyed the cultural function and highly appreciated the college and all staff members. The function revealed many aspects of our culture before the audience.

Harmony 2019

The annual cultural programme of Tapi Diploma Engineering College was held in the auditorium in a befitting manner on 8th March, 2019. It was a day long programme Presided over by the principal of the college, the function was attended by Shri Vinod Upadhyay (HR Head,L&T Hydrocarbon, Hazira, Surat) as the chief guest, Shri D.D. Purohit (Principal, J.H.Desai Polytechnic, Palsana ,Surat)as guest of honour along with Dr. Bankimbhai Thakar (President, STBS Trust), Dr. Vajubhai Mavani (Vice President, STBS Trust), Shri Hemantbhai Topiwala (Secretary, STBS Trust), Shri K.D. Vaghani (Treasurer, STBS Trust), Dr. Kanubhai Mavani (Trustee), Shri Babubhai Kotadiya (General Manager, STBS Trust) and Prof. Y.S. Choupare (Principal, STBS College).

Distinguished guests, elite guardians and the students of the college also attended the inaugural function. The events of the day long programme include Non-teaching staff appreciation, academic prize distribution, music, dance, singing, drama, mime and instrumentals.

Harmony 2017

College is a place, where a person learns to be ‘whole student’. On college campus, extracurricular activities work as key tool for the students to enhance their personal skills and experiences like confidence; self-presentation; teamwork and collaboration; time management and organizational skills; self-awareness; self-discipline; open mindedness to move beyond boundaries and experiment with different idea; communication skills; the ability to cope with criticism and learn from them resulting in a whole new developed, changed and an improved person.

The annual cultural programme of Shree Tapi Brahmcharyashram Sabha College of Diploma Engineering was held in the college ground in a befitting manner on 4th March, 2017.

The Annual cultural festival “Harmony” was celebrated in our College. According to the Indian culture, before starting any auspicious event, we worship the God. Lord Ganesha, is considered very divine so we started programme with “Ganesh Vandana”.

Presided over by the principal of the college, the function was attended by Shri Ajaybhai Choksi as the chief guest, Shri Prafulbhai pansheriya and Shri Ashokbhai Jirawala as guest of honour along with Dr. Bankimbhai Thakar (President, STBS Trust), Dr. Vajubhai Mavani (Vice President, STBS Trust), Shri Hemantbhai Topiwala (Secretary, STBS Trust), Shri K.D. Vaghani (Treasurer, STBS Trust), Dr. Kanubhai Mavani (Trustee), Shri Babubhai Kotadiya (General Manager, STBS Trust) and Prof. Y.S. Choupare (Principal, STBS College).

After this They performed college theme dance on “Masti ki pathshala”; folk dance; drama on “kal thi regular”, “Sacho sathvaro mari dikri no” to describe impotance of girl child in family as well society, “Bhejafry” – Comedy , “Pani re pani” on politics; Instrument play; solo dances; group dances and so many entertainment as well inspirational performances done by students in cultural programme “Harmony”.
