Material Testing Cell

• S.T.B.S. MATERIAL TESTING CELL (Shree Tapi Brahmcharyashram Sabha College of Diploma Engineering) was established in 2012. We provide the service of the highest quality to meet the testing requirement of Industries. All the testing activities are carried out to meet customer’s requirement in accordance with the company satisfaction of national/international standards by knowledgeable staff. Laboratory ensures customer satisfaction by providing prompt services and reliable result at reasonable cost. The quality management system complies with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• The objective of the laboratory is to provide testing services for organisations and to be known for its quality and services. The permanent & independent laboratory is a part of Shree Tapi Brahmcharyashram Sabha College of Diploma Engineering. The laboratory undertakes testing of building materials (mechanical, Chemical and NDT field of testing) in order to enable the effective and efficient test results to customers for designing and other purposes.
• The laboratory is housed in well-built main and permanent facility consisting of Staff Room Area, Reception & Waiting Area, Testing Area, etc.
• The Laboratory employs well-qualified staffs who are capable enough to test and supervise the work and related quality functions. The company has installed the necessary infrastructure and requisite equipments to meet the requirements.

• The management of “S.T.B.S. Material Testing Cell ” is committed to provide excellent and prompt services to enhance customer satisfaction by maintaining integrity, impartiality and consistent operations in the laboratory at all times.
• We are committed to implement management system that meets the requirement of iso/iec 17025:2017 & continually improve quality of testing services rendered through improvement in competence of personnel by continuous training and skill upgradation.

Laboratory will implement quality policy and it is the objective of this Laboratory to function independently and impartially and continually improve by accomplishing following objectives –

• Six monthly average Customer Satisfaction Index should be at least 85.
• Participation in proficiency testing programme and Inter Laboratory Comparison programme to ensure consistency in testing activity. Initiation of corrective action for any poor performance (Z scores more than ± 2) observed in the results within 7 days.
• Internal quality checks are conducted annually covering all the tests to ensure impartiality in testing. Plan v/s Actual 100%.
• Training program (at least one) will be organized annually for personnel of testing on management system and / or testing which will ensure their competence.
• Zero delay in calibration of equipment from its due date.
• To resolve customer complaint, if any, within 15 days.
