Department Mission

To develop the computer engineering department in the field of technical education by:

  • Providing excellent infrastructural facilities.
  • Encouraging students to apply their potential to solve real life problems.
  • Enhancing and grooming student’s outer and inner self to develop the positive changes in their life.

Program Educational Objectives

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Department of Computer Engineering are given below:
PEO-1: To develop outstanding and innovative skills in students to compete with world’s latest technology.
PEO-2: To produce ethical, committed and skilled computer engineers through theoretical knowledge and practical experiences.
PEO-3: To provide environment to students for their overall personality development.

Programme Outcomes

PO 1: Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
PO 2: Problem analysis: Identify analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
PO 3: Design/development of solution: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
PO 4: Engineering tool, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
PO 5: Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
PO 6: Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
PO 7: Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

PSOs (Program Specific Outcomes)

PSO 1 – Ability to apply mathematical methodologies to solve computation task, model real world problem using suitable data structure, suitable algorithm and appropriate technology.

PSO 2 – Gain knowledge in various areas of Computer Engineering and experience an environment contributing in educating skills for successful career, entrepreneurship and higher studies.
