Energy Audit Work

Institute is having team of certified energy manager and auditors by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE, New Delhi). Energy audit cell of institute is GEDA authorized & consists of energy audit experts from electrical & mechanical engineering department. Institute provides energy efficiency improvement program and customized solution for energy savings.

Energy audit cell of college offers energy audit for various industries, commercial complexes & high rise buildings. Energy audit cell of institute has successfully completed various energy audit works as well as energy conservation awareness programs at various colleges from year 2015 to 2019 and continues.

Energy Audit cell:

1. Dedicated Energy auditors & Energy manager team certified by BEE, New Delhi and Authorized by GEDA.

2. Equipped with latest Energy audit instruments.

3. Successfully completed energy audit works of hospital, college, high rise building, Complex etc.

Material Testing Cell

MATERIAL TESTING CELL was established in 2012. We provide the service of the highest quality to meet the testing requirement of Industries. All the testing activities are carried out to meet customer’s requirement in accordance with the company satisfaction of national/international standards by knowledgeable staff. Laboratory ensures customer satisfaction by providing prompt services and reliable result at reasonable cost. The quality management system complies with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

The objective of the laboratory is to provide testing services for organizations and to be known for its quality and services. The permanent & independent laboratory is a part of Tapi Diploma Engineering College. The laboratory undertakes testing of building materials (mechanical, Chemical and NDT field of testing) in order to enable the effective and efficient test results to customers for designing and other purposes.

ISO 9001:2015 Certified (EA-JAS, No: 23780)

Services :- Testing of various materials, Soil Investigation, NDT, Chemical & filed testing, Concrete mix testing, On-site cube casting, Core cutting & Sampling facility etc.

Environment Audit Cell

We have reorganization as a Schedule – I Environmental Auditors from Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gandhinagar since the year 2008.

We are involve into the Environmental Monitoring of Flue Gas & Process Gas, Ambient Air, Water & Wastewater and Hazardous waste of different types industries like Textiles, Sugar, Dyes, Pigments, Pesticides, Petrochemical, Chemical, Fertilizer, Pharmaceuticals, Power Plants etc.

We are also issuing certificate for:

Mass balance and Water balance
Overall Pollution load of EMS system
Adequacy & Efficiency of pollution control equips.

SARJAN-II Winners

Four groups of final year Mechanical Engineering Department students participated in project competition “SARJAN-II” organized by SVIT, Vasad on 25/03/2022. Amongst them, two groups secured 1st and 2nd rank with cash prozes Rs. 5000/- and Rs. 4000/- respectively.

National Conference held at SSASIT, Surat

Mrs. K.M.Dholariya adhoc lecturer of electrical engineering department won 3rd rank in National conference held at SSASIT,surat for paper Presentation on topic “Construction and appliance of zig zag transformer for improvement of harmonics” on date 26/11/2021.
